I'm in a victorian mood
It started while re-watching one of my fav film series, 'Road to Avolnlea', continued with Sherlock Holmes (that one with Jeremy Brett), and Dracula by Coppola.
This bracelet is inspired my the lovely Mina Harker. In my mind Mina has this colors... blue eyes, and dark copper colored hair.
It took about 30-35 hours to make it.
I always wanted to try to make crocheted wire jewelry, but i cannot crochet. My mother promised me to teach it, but she died 15 years ago in a car accident. Than i tried to learn it from books, but it's very hard.. after long moths of thinking i've realized that i can knit! So the base of this one is knitted copper wire, than i've added the silver plated decoration and the glass bead. I've oxidized the whole piece to add a goth-is, mystical feeling.
It measures 3.5 cm in width, and 16 cm in length.. it can be longer if i add a little extra chain to it.
