'Maharet and Mekare were twin sisters and powerful witches living in a beautiful valley not far from Egypt six thousand years ago. They had curly red hair and green eyes. They were hereditary witches who could communicate with spirits.' (wikipedia)

This necklace was inspired by the movie 'The Queen of the Damned' in which the beautiful Lena Olin played Maharet.

The necklace is made of olive green glass beads and black artistic wire (which is a nylon coated copper wire, and will not harm if you keep it away from other metals).

The pendant measures 5,5 cm (about 2.25 inches)in length, the chain is a double crocheted one ends with black satin ribbons, so it's absolutelly adjustable. Max. length of the chain is about 61 cm (24 inches).

hopefully i'll be able to upload 'Mekare' soon :)

That is so cool! It really looks like a person. ^^ Before I clicked on this to bring it up, it looked like a Nutcracker. I bet you could do one real well if you had the right colors. But it is too late for the season I fear. X3
