Description
In Kalevala, the Finnish national epic, Ilmatar was a virgin spirit of the air.
Shei's portrayed as androgynous with both male and female aspects, though she is primarily female. She was impregnated by the sea and wind and thus became the mother of Väinämöinen.
This is the 1st piece i made this year (yesterday, on the 1st of January)
This is a very symbolic one for me, so i have to keep it as a reminder (talisman or whatever)
Materials i used:
Ligh blue agate ring (=air)
stainless steel (= for me that's a rather masculine metal, but the design has a little feiminine touch as well)
rough diamond (= symbolises the possibilities for me)
I have another ligh blue agate ring in US size 6 (inner circumference = 6 cm), so if any of you want a simillar piece, i can make one more in february.
I hope you'll like it too

what an awesome way to use a simple agate ring!
